COMMISSION INFORMATION

TERMS OF SERVICE

By commissioning me, all clients agree to my Terms of Service. Failure to acknowledge and abide by the TOS will result in termination of services and a refund. Blacklisting from future services may also occur.

Client Rights & Responsibilities:

  • Clients must be 18 years or older at the time of service.

  • Clients may ask for updates, including WIPS and ETAs.

  • For traditional pieces, the client must live in the United States and must acknowledge that once the piece is shipped, the artist has no control over the package.

  • Clients may request for their commissions not to be posted on social media.

  • Clients may post the commissioned work to social media with appropriate credit to the artist.

  • The client may modify their commission in any way they see fit for non-profit purposes only. Appropriate credit to the artist must be given.

Artist Rights & Responsibilities

  • I, the artist, reserve and maintain rights to all work I create in any digital print form under the pseudonym Ojiilemon or 0jiilemon. This includes using commissioned work in portfolios, prints, merchandise, etc.

  • I maintain the right to refuse any commission, character or concepts along with any corrective/editing that I’m uncomfortable with.

  • In the event that I decide to cancel a commission, I will provide a full refund.

  • I will only discuss commission details with the paying client.

PAYMENTS AND REFUNDS

Full payment is due upfront.
I accept USD via PayPal, Venmo, Cash App or credit/debit card.

Full refunds are ONLY eligible if I cancel the commission or if I am unable to complete the piece by the agreed upon deadline from the payment date.

I strive to be accommodating and I am willing to work with clients who are dissatisfied with their commissions. This requires an open dialogue so do not be afraid to be honest!

Please do not open a dispute on any of the listed payment platforms without contacting me first. I will take legal action and the client will be blacklisted. The client is responsible for their own financial situation. I will not offer refunds in the event the client is unable to manage their finances.

COMMISSION PROCESS

  • After accepting a commission, I'll contact the client with an invoice if they pay through PayPal. If a client requires an invoice and will not be using PayPal, I can send one via email.

  • In the initial consultation, the timeframe of completion will be discussed. Please keep in mind that traditional pieces will take longer to complete.

  • References: Picture references are REQUIRED. If the client doesn't have a reference sheet, clear images of any kind are allowed.

  • A work in progress will be sent for sketch and flat-color stages. Corrections are made in these stages (see below.)

  • Clients will receive high-resolution PNG files of their finished commission.

  • If the commission is a painting, I will mail the piece to you, sealed and with a tracking number. Shipping and handling costs will be determined once the initial consultation is completed.

CORRECTIONS AND EDITS

  • Sketch phase: Two free passes of corrections. Please be thorough to avoid additional adjustments.

  • Flat color phase: Color corrections are free, any corrections to lines at this point will cost extra or be denied.

  • Once finished artwork is approved, NO corrections are permitted.

  • A thumbnail sketch and under sketch will be provided if the commission is traditional. Depending on the scope of the painting, I will discuss the stages of progress in the initial consultation as every painting is unique and requires an individualistic approach.
